Deborah Baker joins Joe Perkins for Circuit Judge Campaign Committee.

We are excited to announce that Deborah Baker has joined the Committee to Elect Joe Perkins for Circuit Judge!  Deborah is a partner at SMGQ Law, where she focuses her law practice in the area of commercial litigation, with significant emphasis in the areas of business and real estate litigation. Deborah has represented public and private companies in a variety of corporate litigation matters, and has represented receivers. She has also successfully represented commercial landlords in connection with lease negotiations and disputes.

Deborah is extremely active in our community.   She served on the Florida Bar, Board of Governors’ Judicial Nominating Commission Screening Committees for vacancies on the Florida Supreme Court and Third District Court of Appeals (and chaired the latter committee) and is the past President (2014-15) of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, among other community activities.  We are honored to have Deborah on the team!
