Today we grieve as one family.

No words or deeds can truly eliminate the pain of the loss of nearly 3,000 lives taken from us so viciously 18 years ago. But as Americans come together today in sorrow and remembrance, we renew the love that tethers us together as one American family, and our collective grief reminds us that no matter how bad things get, there is nothing that we Americans cannot overcome when we unite together.
