Alejandro Miyar - Former Press Secretary to Mayor Manny Diaz - Joins Joe Perkins for Circuit Judge Campaign Committee!

We are excited and honored to announce that Alejandro Miyar has joined the Joe Perkins for Circuit Judge Campaign Committee! Alejandro is a member of Berger Singerman's Dispute Resolution Team based in Miami and focuses his practice on complex civil litigation in federal and state courts.

Alejandro has represented corporations, families and individuals in matters spanning borders and industries. His work often features complex elements, including multi-jurisdictional and technological issues. Alejandro's practice often involves collateral disputes with governmental and internal investigations.

Prior to joining Berger Singerman, Alejandro practiced law with a large national firm. Alejandro also served as a national spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC. During his time at Main Justice, Alejandro worked on high-profile civil rights and other federal law enforcement matters.

Alejandro previously served as the press secretary to former City of Miami Mayor Manuel "Manny" A. Diaz. He was a trusted aide to Mayor Diaz for all public affairs matters. Alejandro's experience also includes national and statewide political campaigns. He is fluent in Spanish.
