Aaron McKinney Joins Joe Perkins for Circuit Judge Campaign Committee!
We are excited and honored to announce that Aaron McKinney has joined the Joe Perkins for Circuit Judge Campaign Committee! Aaron is an assistant project manager for Related Urban and is currently working on the Liberty Square revitalization project in Liberty City. A Miami native from Liberty City, Aaron has spent over a decade demonstrating his commitment to serving the public in some of Miami-Dade’s most under-served communities.
Prior to his tenure with Related Urban, Aaron served as the deputy chief of staff in the office of Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara J. Jordan, covering issues related to housing and social services, infrastructure and utilities, and public safety. Aaron also spent 3 years as a legislative assistant and advisor to State Senator Dwight Bullard, leading the Senator’s Tallahassee operations and outreach efforts in North Miami-Dade, Collier, and Hendry counties. Aaron’s professional experience also includes several programming and administrative roles in local community-based organizations, including the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project and Empowered Youth, as well as political organizing for presidential and gubernatorial campaigns. Aaron is a proud graduate of Florida International University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in political science.
