Jill Carabotta and Susan Steakley of Carabotta Steakley, PLLC Join Joe Perkins for Circuit Judge Campaign Committee!

We are excited to announce that Jill Carabotta and Susan Steakley of Carabotta Steakley PLLC have joined the Committee to Elect Joe Perkins for Circuit Judge!  Jill and Susan founded Carabotta Steakley, PLLC in 2018.   

Before then, Jill was General Counsel for Windhaven Insurance Company, ("Windhaven") where she was responsible for providing legal recommendations for all business, acquisitions, employee relations, real estate and other company needs.  She managed the entire Windhaven Legal Operation, including an in-house law firm of 75+ employees and outside counsel.  Prior to Windhaven, Jill was with Florida-based United Automobile Insurance Company and served as their Executive Vice President of Legal for eight years.  During her tenure as EVP, she managed an in-house law firm of 100+ employees with responsibilities including recruiting, hiring, training, strategic development, and all aspects of litigation and case handling. 

Before co-founding Carabotta Steakley, Susan was Litigation Manager at Windhaven, where she supervised over 25 attorneys and 50 staff members and was responsible for 10,000+ cases from inception through trial.  He prior experience also includes having served as the Managing Attorney of the Miami office of a Statewide insurance defense firm, as a Senior Trial Attorney at Florida's Department of Children and Families, as a prosecutor, and as a public defender.
